Dynamic Stretches
1. Legs apart, bounce L, C, R (5x)
2. Calves 1, 2, 3 switch (2x each leg)
3. Knee to chest into Figure 4 with footwork in between (2x each)
4. Quad strech with footwork in between (2x each)
5. Speed skater with footwork in between (2x each)
6. Spiderman/Rollback (4x each)
7. Reverse RDL + Reverse lunge + Overhead reach (4x each)
8. Open/Close the Gate (4x each)
9. Lateral lunge (2x each)
10. Squat Jumps (4x each)

Objective: develop the ability to break lines through movement and vision.
Set-up: 25x20 grid. 4 goals. Goals are 2 yards beyond the grid on each end and set 3 yards in on each side. 4v4 + 3 neutral players. 1 neutral is inside the grid while the other 2 act as targets on each end.
Instructions: players play 4v4+3 and try to score through passing into the goal. They may use all 3 neutrals. They should try to find the target on their attacking end to help them penetrate.
Key Coaching Points:
1. Eyes up to try and find the goals and the targets;
2. Movement without the ball especially when the ball is played into the target;
3. Break the lines with passing and running.

Objective: improve transition, 1v1, 2v2 attacking, 1v1, 2v2 defending, finishing.
Organization: set-up field that is 20 yards wide and 24 yards long.
Instructions: play 2v2 flying changes. Whatever side the ball goes in the goal or out of bounds 2 new players come on from that side.
Coaching Points: (1) Go full speed, (2) Fast transitions, (3) Immediate recovery if you lose it.

Objective: improve our 1v1 defending, transition, and fitness.
Organization: two grids that are 7x20 side-by-side. One small goal at each end opposite each other.
Instructions: players play a continuous game of 1v1. As soon as player passes the scoring zone line they can shoot. Then they must recover right away to try and prevent a goal.
Coaching Points: (1) full speed, (2) transition, (3) effort.

Rondo 8v2 (10 mins)
Objective: mental and physical activation game for the training session.
Set-up: 10x10 grid. 10 players.
Instructions: players play 1 touch keep away. If the defenders win the ball they drop the vests and transition quickly into the possession.
Timing: Play 4 minutes, stretch on their own 2 minutes, play 4 minutes then go into dynamic stretch.
Coaching Points: (1) quality of passes, (2) receiving the ball open across our body, (3) proper passing and receiving, movement to fill in spaces, fast transitions from defending to attacking and from attacking to defending.
