- The ball gets played into the player on the right of the player that has the ball.
- The player opposite the receiving player presses the player.
- Change the direction to left after a while when the players become comfortable.
- If the player is pressed and loses the ball, the play starts again from the pressing player.
Progression
- The ball can be played either left or right, the opposite player still presses.

- One team attacking, one defending. Defenders starting behind the beside the three possible goals, attackers starting opposite.
- The ball gets played into the attacker waiting near the cone, that's the trigger for the defender to press.
- It then becomes a 1v1 challenge, with the attacker aiming to dribble the ball into the goal.
- If the defender wins the ball, they can attack the goal opposite by passing into the goal.
Progression
- Change the trigger & starting positions.
- 2v2 depending on performance.
- 2 attackers vs 1 player pressing, one to receive the ball, one to pass and move to the line behind the two sets of cones, aiming to receive the ball through one set.

- Three teams split into even numbers, with two goalkeepers, game realistic.
- The team around the area can be used as a feeder & receiver who can't be challenged. They're allowed along the line from the corner to halfway.
- The team without possession can identify a trigger and press, using the ball once possession is gained.
- The teams can be swapped at any time, as pressing is physically demanding.

- Mixup the ball delivery into play.
- Points system for areas of pressing & how many players press.
Focus
- Number of players to press.
- Press to win & dictate play.
- Learning when to press, using a trigger.
- Pressing further up the field, keeping the ball in the opposition half.

Dribbling into Traffic (10 mins)
- Two teams split into even numbers, if possible.
- Each team split into two starting opposites side of the square.
- Both members of one team start to dribble towards the cone, meeting each other and knocking/ dribbling the ball to the side as instructed.
- Once they've passed the cone, a pass will be played into the player waiting.
- The other team then repeats the process, each team taking turns.
Progression
- Ask the players how close they can get to the cone before knocking/ dribbling past.
- Recommend skills that the players can try before reaching the cone ie. stepover & knock
