POFTB - START THE ATTACK (15 mins)
10-12 PLAYERS , 10-12 BIBS , 2 MINI GOALS/POLES & 1 LARGE GOAL
TASK: POFTB - START THE ATTACK AS QUICKLY AS WE CAN
INSTRUCTIONS:
FORMATION AS ABOVE 1, 3(2,3,4), 2(5,6), 3(7,8,9) + DEFENDERS
PASSING MOVEMENT ALWAYS STARTS WITH GK.
GK TO PLAY A PASS TO EITHER THE CM OR THE FB ON THE SIDE OF THE FIELD THAT THE BALL/PLAY FINISHES. I.E IF RIGHT SIDE OF GOALS PLAY RB OR R SIDED CM (AS SHOWN).
FULLBACKS ARE TO START WIDE & HIGH (MARK FOR THE DROP OFF ZONE)
BOTH CM TO START AT TOP OF ZONES MARKED, BALL SIDE CM DROPS TO RECEIVE AND OPEN SIDE STAYS HIGH.
BALL SIDE CM OR FB CAN RECEIVE THE GK PASSS.

PLAYER 2 CHECKS OFF BEHIND POLE OPENING OUT TO RECEIVE BEFORE PLAYING A LONG PASS TO PLAYER 3
PLAYER CHECKS OFF POLE TO ALLOW 1ST TOUCH AROUND POLE
PLAYER 3 PLAYS 1-2 WITH PLAYER 4 BEFORE DRIVING TO TAKE HIM ON
PLAYER 4 PRESSES OUT TO DEFEND AFTER PLAYING HIS PASS
COACHES CHOICE WHETHER DEFENDER SHOULD BE LIVE OR PASSIVE
DEPENDING ON SIZE OF AREA AND PLAYER NUMBERS CAN ALSO HAVE A GOALKEEPER IF USING LARGER GOALS
