Description

Thisdrill is to improve playing through the middle. You can position the playerslike you do in your formation. This is to encourage the reds to play throughthe middle of the pitch up to the strikers to score a goal in one of the twogoals. The two goals can represent strikers, a through ball through thedefense. If the blues win it thenthey can score in the single goal. 

You can do this in the formation you are set up in with your team to try and make it match realistic. This will help give your players understand their role better. 

To progress this you can add fullbacks that work with the team in possession to go up the pitch. One opposition can enter their zone to help stop them from progressing up the pitch.

In Possession-

•Bedirect.
•Canthe defender drive into space and commit a midfielder to then punch it into aforward player to cut through the midfield.
•Bodylanguage can it be open to receive on the back foot to drive away from theopposition.

Outof Possession-

•Ifthe ball is won back canthey be quick and direct to score a goal.
