7 and 11 can be used as additional outfield players if numbers dictate.

Lead In

Players 8 v 7

Reds GK - 4 - 3 = 8

Blues 1 - 4 - 2 = 7

Additional players can be used on the red team (instead of mini goals)

Starting Point

GK Kenny or Lucas start by hitting ball long to CB (Blue)

RED team start in atacking positions

Red team retreat into defensive shape.

Player

Declan Cunningham Centre Half. 

Declan to stay in contact with defensive line.  Stay within close contact of Conner Ashworth his CH partner.  Declan has a habit because of lack of pace dropping back.  Communication and organisation of defensive line and secondary line Midfield.

Transition

Once the defending team continually hit the target man in the box he then plays for the attacking team.

He begins play by passing wide or into a CM player.

This is the trigger for the RED team to get into a defensive shape

CB tight together

FB tucked in - aim for no more than 10 yards between players

CM SHIELD - to be set up in front of back 4 but between the lines

Concentrate on RED back 4 being in correct attacking position and transferring to defensive position on triggers. (Trigger is opposition winning the ball back)

The set up is slightly different if the back four are facing a front three.

No. 2 will mark LM (Goal side)  Elliot Flyde Worthington or Jack Smith

2 CBs (4 and 5) will deal with the CF.  Conner and Declan

No. 3 will move over to No5s position, being aware of the run from RM and trying to cut out a pass.  Lucas A

No.8 (acting as part of the two man MF) will go to close the LM who has the ball.  CM.  Billy or Lucas R

No. 6 will move over into 8s position, cutting out the pass to the CF or the long pass to the RM.  Ryan

No. 10 gets goal side/ball side of the CM, Dan

No. 7 moves into a position to cut out the reverse pass to CB.
