A pass to B
B lays back to A
A pass to C
C lays back to B
B lays in front of C
C dribbles back to group
B moves to spare cone

- A pass to B & follows pass
- B pass to C & follow pass
- C pass to D & follow pass
- D pass to E & follow pass
- E pass shoots!
Coaching Points:
- Open body shape
- Movement away from cone
- Control using back foot
- Good weight and accuracy of pass
- Communication - Verbal & Non-Verbal
- Player E should wait until pass made before moving past the cone - other wise they are offside!

Method:
- 4 v 1
- How many passes can they get
Progression 1: Must control with 1 foot & pass with the other
Progression 2: One touch. Count how many passes they can get
Coaching Points:
- Open body shape
- Controlling with back foot & passing with the other
- Chasing player - block one passing lane. Try to react to players first touch. Once ball moves, player moves
- Communication - verbal & nonverbal (LOUD!!!)
- Movement - players should NOT just stand at cone. Can they move to create passing lanes

Method:
- Blue teams working together & Red teams work together trying to pass to each other
- Every pass = 1 goal
- Work for 2 mins (or longer if required), then see which team scored most goals
- Team with least goals does forfeit (tuck jumps/push ups etc.)
Progression 1: One player can go into the area to make it mini rondo (3v1 or 4v1)
Progression 2: Two players can go into area (3v2 or 4v2)
Coaching Points:- Communication - Verbal & non verbal
- Can players create clear passing lanes. The player on the ball must be able to see team mates
- Move the ball between each team, trying to move the middle players
- Scan & accurate pass
- Outside players need to create 'width' & 'depth' by using the full area
- Players in the middle - are they scanning to block passing lanes. Open body shape! Working & moving together.
- Closest blue player applies 'Pressure', next gives 'Cover', last 'Balance'
