Rondo

This is a 2v2+4 rondo in which it includes the full-back in the progression of the ball from end to end. There must be at least two passes made i each half. This will ensure control and penetration. Can players use the wide areas to overload and unlock space behind.

Progression 1: The two passes are made, then the ball is switched, and head to the other half of the practice. This includes both wide players and the four central players moving across.

Progression 2: The ball us played wide and then played back into the midfield player who is marked. The ball is then bounced back to the outside player and then into the wide area.

Progression 3: The pink looks to fix the blue and receive the ball marked. Once they have received the ball, can they play a ball around the corner (first time)? Different foot surfaces.

Coaching points: Intensity, positioning, and receiving skills.
