Organization:
- In your same area you will work on footwork. Try to have a small area where you can move around and manipulate the soccer ball.
Instructions:
- Coach will demonstrate and give feedback on each skill.
* toe touches.
* Side to Side.
* Sole role.
* Triangles - Create a Triangle shape with the Ball Using Right and Left foot.
* Squares - Create a Square shape with the ball Using right and left foot.
Coaching Points:
- Use different surfaces of the foot to control and manipulate the ball.
- Always keep control of the ball.
- small touches.
- Increase speed when players are ready.
Progressions:
- Increase speed.
- Make it a competition who can do the most triangles in 30 seconds. Who can do the most squares in 30 seconds.

Circuit 1 (approx 3 mins)
Box 1 - Agility
Bounce over the ball, on both feet, with feet together, sideways on - 20 reps
Box 2 - Strength
Immediately into strength conditioning - No break.
Assume press up position. Place ball under right hand. Complete a press up. Transfer ball from right hand to left hand. Complete a press up. Return ball to left hand and repeat x 10 - 5 with ball under right hand, 5 with ball under left hand.
Box 3 - Core
Core conditioning.
Sit on bottom.
Raise feet off the ground- and cross feet over.
Hold ball in both hands.
Touch ball onto the ground and whilst remaining in sitting position with feet off the ground, move the ball back and forth from one side of your body to the other. Touching the ground each time. Repeat x 20.
Box 4
Ball juggling using all parts of the body, remaining within the square, for 100 touches. If you drop the ball, just carry on from where you dropped the ball.
Box 5
Ball Mastery - free style - 30 secs.

Box 1
Always going around the outside of the cones.
Move forward to cone directly in front; shuffle backwards diagonally; accelerate to cone in front, shuffle backwards diagonally; once back at starting point, perform 20 two footed sideways jumps over the cone.
Continue for 1 min.
Box 2
Start in between the two cones. Proceed to the ball in the middle of the area and complete 20 x toe taps.
Move backwards to starting position. Perform sidewayds figure of eight shuffle. Once back in staring position, repeat toe taps.
Continue for 1 min.
Box 3
High Knees.Working arms also - 30 secs.
