4 v 2 transitional keepaway (add more numbers if needed)
The attacking team have to keep the ball away from the 2 defenders. Upon winning the ball, the defending team try to play the ball into the opp. grid into their team-mates. Upon playing the ball across, the attackers now move across to keep the ball...2 defenders now transfer across to try and win the ball.
Progression - Add in additional defender / space as needed
Timing: 4 x 2 minute intervals (45 seconds rest in between)

- Body positioning according to ball
- Angles and distance of support
- Quick press to win the ball
- Look forward when possible / How to play forward?
- Quick press from team who lost ball to stop ball going forward.

3 v 3 keepaway with Neutral to counter - attack
The black team try to keep the ball away from the defending team. Upon winning the ball te defending team try to play into their Target player and then try to score in the goal / dribble through gate. 3 players can enter zone after pass into target.
Progression: - 1 defender can follow into zone
- Free movement for everyone after pass into target
Timing: 4 x 3 minute intervals (45 seconds rest)
Coaching points:
- Target / CF's movement to be able to receive (find passing lines)
- Immediate moveement after pass to support
- Support behind and 2 wide runners high
- Decision of how to exploit space (pass to feet / pass to space / dribble etc)
- Combination play

Transitional keepaway to goal.
Teams play in a 2-3-1 formation. Ball starts in central area with the attacking team, they have to keep the ball away from the defending team. Upon winning the ball, the teasm who win the ball and try to play into their CF and the becomes live (free play). When the ball goes out of play, the ball restarts in the central zone.
Timing: 4 x 5 min intervals (1 minute rest)
