SET UP

As you can see there are 2v1 and 1v2 zones, can the wide player be positive moving forwards with the ball. This part is about the 1v1 battle and a supporting player staying on the edge of the zone giving the player on the ball space to play but also have space to pass to.

Quick feet, different player beating skills to practise to try to make the defender unbalanced to get past to deliver a cross to the striker who 1v2.

If you feel the players are confident, try to play a normal game 5v4 keeping the wide zones to give players practise in real game pressure and game speed. If you do try a game be sure to give defenders a way of scoring a point also.
