Progressions:
Key Messages/Points:
-Finding open space
-Taking players on 1v1
-When to pass and when to dribble
-Lots of goals
-Balls always staying in play so throwing in a new ball quickly

The Session:
This is a 1v1. Line A will pass the ball to line B. They will attack each other and play 1v1. It is directional. If player A wins the ball from player B, they now have the ability to score. As soon as the ball is scored or out of bounce, the coach will let the players know to start a new ball with new players from lines A and B. Repeat the same thing on field 2 with lines C and D if big numbers. No more than 3/4 kids in a line.
Progressions:
Progress from 1v1 to 2v2.
Key Messages/Points:
-Finding open space
-Use 1v1 skills from technical phase
-When to pass and when to dribble in 2v2

Technical (10 mins)
The Session:
Split up all players between the four cones on the outside. No more than two players per cone. When the coach says go, the first player in each line dribbles through the square in the middle, to the opposite side cone. Once all four players make it through, the coach will then say go again for the next four.
Progressions:
Add in a skill to preform in the small square in the middle then accelerate out to the cone across. Skills like: shoulder drop, inside outside, scissors, etc.
Key Messages/Points:
-Dribble taking small touches with your laces, every step is a touch
-Keep you head up (Eagle Eyes)
-Use cuts in the middle to avoid contact (inside, outside)
-Accelerate after middle square to opposite cone
