Stage 2) Short & Wide
- Teams now have to defend 3 goals, and attack 3 goals.
- If the teams are greater than 5-a-side, you can place target players in between the PUGs, use the same 1 out 1 in rule as the previous setup. Having target players in these positions can help players work on their 'killer passes' between defenders.
- Utilise odd numbers by having a 'joker' to work with the team in possession and create overloads.

Long & Narrow
Stage 1) Long & Narrow
- Teams of 4,5,6 work side to side, trying to break the blue lines at either end.
- If a team gets across the end line, players can turn without being tackled, and pass in to their team as they try to break across the end liine on the opposite side of the grid.
- The defending team works in the opposite direction to the team on the ball, so, when they win possession they can in effect 'counter attack'.
- If teams have 7-a-side, add end players in for each team on the blue line. These are now target players, and when a player passes the ball into the target player, they rotate out to become the target, and the target player comes into the field of play.
- Utilise odd numbers by having a 'joker' to work with the team in possession and create overloads.
