Instructions:

• TEchnical component of the defensive aspect when pressing and covering. On goal side two defenders pressing and covering, on the opposite side two attackers passing back to back to each other.

• Two teams.

Instructions:

• Game will start with a rondo 4v1 (10x10yds) in the middle of the pitch. White team (4 players) will be in possession. Blue team will have one defenders in the rondo, who's job is to kick/pass the ball outside to start a possession game where they will score a point for every 4 passes. If white team (counter pressing) recovers the ball, they will attempt to score on goal.

Coaching Points/Questions:

• Body shape.
• Angle of approach.
• Triggers: poor first touch, ball in the air, head down, slow pass, back to the field.
• First defender, be loud (I got ball).
• Quality passes.
• Focus and reaction.
