Organisation:
Set out a small grid with two pairs of poles (or cones) in the corners of the furthest goal line. These poles will act as the goals. Place cones on the other goal line which will act as the scoring zone for the defenders.
Divide the players into two teams and split into defenders and attackers, making sure that there are opportunities for rest with one or more people waiting in line.
If required, create two grids as seen in the image.
How to Play:
1 defender starts between the two goals, whilst two attackers start on the other end.
The two attackers should find space in wide areas and find the pass to the free player who can then run into space to score a goal.
If the defender doesn't apply enough pressure to the player dribbling, then then dribbler can attack the goal himself.
If the defender wins the ball, they can score a goal by dribbling the ball as quick as they can past the scoring zone.
Coaching Tips:
Try to promote quick touches into space.
Can you push the ball in front of you with your first touch so that you can sprint into space?
The coach can intervene and help players think about what decisions they can make in different scenarios.
CHANGEIT / Progressions:
Can become a 2v2 if achieving a lot of success and the group need to be challenged further.
If there is not enough success, make the goals and area bigger as required.

See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Organisation:
Roughly 30m x 20m field size or as required.
How to Play:
Have the end game look as much like the game on the weekend as possible, this means normal game rules.
Coaching Tips:
Encourage running with the ball. This can be done by adding a Dribbling Boost when you see players dribble the ball more than 5 metres.
CHANGEIT / Progressions:
Want to see more goals? Play with 4 goals rather than 2. This can also help players spread out.
Make the field wider if you want to see the players running into space more.
You can also create another End Zone if you want to incentivise running with the ball.

Dribbling Gates (15 mins)
Organisation:
Set up 'gates' and spread them out across the playing area.
Different coloured gates can create more variety and visual cues for younger children.
Every player should have a ball and can start by standing in between a gate.
How to Play:
Players dribble freely around the field gaining points by dribbling through gates. At each gate, perform a skill. Go from simple to complex.
Coaching Tips:
This is your opportunity to help players learn something newand work on it in a fun game.
If you don't know how to perform a skill yourself, ask a player to demonstrate for you.
CHANGEIT / Progressions:
Make gates or bigger or smaller based on ability levels.
Add a defender or a 'troll' that tries to defend the gates for more engagement.
