Set Up
15min.
3v2 in a 10x20 zone
2 reds in each 5x20 wide channel
Instructions
Reds must keep possession, and can pass to the wide players
If a wide player receives, they must open up, and pass to the next wide player, who must then pass to a red in the middle zone = 1pt
Reds can't play it into the same channel twice
Blues try to win it back (must stay out of wide channel)
Every 2 passes completed by blues = 1pt
Progression
Red that passes it into the wide channel must follow their pass
Second wide player to receive can pass or dribble into middle zone (must now join middle zone)

Set Up

Keeper + 2 CB + 2 FB + 1 CM setup for possession in def. 3rd
2 mini goals at half
3 mannequins above penalty area
Instructions
Start: coach passes to CB/FB
Pattern: relay side to side, across back 4
- 1 whistle: pass CM > nearest FB > continue pattern
- 2 whistles: pass to CM > oppostie FB who passes into the mini goal & makes a wide run to half (then comes back and resets)
Progression:
After pass into mini goal, everyone pushes up together (FBs + CM make it to half, CBs are close behind & in-line)

Set Up

1 Target in front of mannequin
Other players lined up with a ball
Instructions
Start: First in line passes to the target
Target must hold the ball up, then lay it off for the passer to shoot (after layoff = join back of line)
The passer then shoots (after shot = become target)
(4-5min shooting from the left, then repeat on the other side)
Progression
In a central 10x10 square, setup with 1 red v 1 blue
Start: red outside the square passes to red in the square
Reds now have 5sec to score (2v1)
Reds can score from inside or outside of the square
Blues try to win the ball and pass to the coach

Body Shape (target = hold up properly)
Timing of Runs (arrive at the ball to hit it first time)
