Four Square Football -
In these games player need to considr the variety of pass required to up a goal.
Set up - Organise two teams and a pitch which is divided into four different coloured squares.
How it works - The oach calls out two of the coloured squares (Red & Blue)
Bonus goasl are gained if a goal is scored within one of the named squares having come from the other square. From example in the diagram the blue team pass from the Red square into the Blue square (diagnol pass) and score so bonnus points are scored.
The ball can be passed/ dribbled between the squares.
This is the same rule for both teams.

Set up 2 boxes with a 6 yard 'playmaker zone', where one of the 2 attackers can drop in to recieve a pass to turn and attack the 3 defenders to score in one of the 2 small goals in the corner.
Play 3vs2 inside each zone and encourage the 'playmakers' to drop in, and help release one of the defenders from the box to allow support to play 3vs3 in the attacking zone, leaving 2v2 at the back.
Coaching points -
Dop in on time and demand the pass to feet.
Look to provide support and offer an out ball if the defender is close.
if the defender isnt close enough, encourage the playmaker to turn and use the support and an overlap.
The furthest player forward should angle off and offer a 1-2 if the playmaker can turn.
