Set up:
-4 goals in each corner (or about 3-5 yards off the sideline)
-7v7 or 8v8 (6 or 7 field players,1 GK) can add bumpers when needed
4 Goal game:
-each team defends the 2 goals behind them and attacks the 2 goal in front of them.
-GK must transition between both defensive goals depending on where the ball is
-teams look to play quickly and switch the point of attack through the central players to catch the GK out of position.
-Must be in attacking half to score
-can also add touch limits, pass counts, or neutrals
Coaching Points:
-attract pressure to one side to quickly play out through pivot player/central players to create numerical advantages on weak side.
-Once ball is switched go at defenders and put them under pressure
-must move the ball quickly and sharply to catch GK out of position.
-Make quick decisions and play the ball with pace to unbalance the defense.
-Find the goal and score when it is on. Don’t be afraid to take chances!
-Don’t Force it!

2 outside channels set up 10y from touch line
Description:
1st- they must play through 1 of the outside zones before they can score.
2nd- They must use both outside zones and keep possession before you can score.
Regular play, ball must start with the GK when it leaves the field.
Coaching Points:
1. Movement to open space with and without ball
2. Create proper angle to receive the ball, not behind defender
3. Body shape to open hips when receiving ball
4. Create passing lanes
5. Decision making: Read defender pressure and open space and players to pass to.
6. Commit the defender before passing

Instructions:
- Players play 6v6 +1
- Normal goal is worth 1
- If you are able to play in all three zones before scoring, worth 2.
- If a direct switch is played from Zone A to C, goal is worth 3 (Progression)
- Goals must be scored in attacking half
- Ball restarts in defensive zone when it goes out
Coaching points:
- Play to one side with the intent to switch to the other side
- Attract pressure with possession (to break a line)
- Triggers and Cues:
* Numbers down on a side
* Space on far side/open player
* Not able to go forward
- Using link players (playing backwards to go forward using back line) or (using CM to switch the play quickly from within a pocket of space) COMPLETE THE SWITCH
