Organisation
Three players on the outside of a box, two on the inside.
The players on the outside must stay outside and the two players inside must remain there and not tackle the ball carrier.
The player on the ball can carry around the edge at will in any direction, and their teammates should move to open passing lanes.
Score points for making a certain number of consecutive passes without the defenders touching the ball.
The player turning the ball over should swap with the player that gave it away.
Defenders should be adopting bosy positions that allow them to maintain sight of the space "behind" them, and work to deny passes for as long as possible. (score a point if the ball carrier is unable to make a pass for say 5 seconds)

Organisation
Play 3 v 3 on a pitch as shown in the diagram. Set up three goals for each team to score in.
To score a goal teams must carry into one of the goals. They should then leave the ball and jump back to defend their three goals.
To change it up, when a goal is scored the scoring team should retain posession and Turn & Burn to score at the other end of the pitch.
Coaching points
Players should be looking to make good decisions about how best to go forward. Carry or pass? Players off the ball should be working to help their team to move forward by offering passing options or by clearing space/manipulating defenders.
Defenders should be working hard to deny space, slow the attacking team down, and ultimately to regain possession.
Technical
Passing/carrying/receiving/leading
Individual defence skills (jab/steal/shave/block etc.)

4 Blues v 5 Reds

Ball 1 = 4 B v 3 R
Ball 2 = 4 B v 4 R
Ball 3 = 4 B v 5 R
Ask teams to play in the following scenarios. Give them time to consider tactics.
1-0 up with 5 mins to go
1-0 down with 5 mins to go.
Score with overload = 1 point
Score even handed = 2 points
Score short handed = 3 points
Repeat 5 times (3 balls each phase) then swap Blue team and Red team for another 5 sets. Total score across all 10 repetitions.
You can adapt the size of pitch and amend numbers accordingly.
