Organization:
- quarter field, set up as per doagram
- 10-12 players ( incl GK),
- Cones , net, balls
Combination play with finishing
Players from A makes a long pass to point C. Player from B comes forward to receive in C and play 1 touch to D, then checking out. Player at point D pass acroos for running E , who takes a first touch to set his shot and takes it right after ( Left Foot).
Next ball is played from H, same combinations, for Running B ( Right foot).
Shooter , goes to diagonal end lane ( E goes to A). A to D, D to B. Same sequesnce on the oposite side.
Coaching points:
- acuracy , timing and weight of the pass
- try to do all in 1 touch, exept the shooter (takes 2)
- attack the space, accelerate before shooting ( power behind the ball)
- shooting technique ( lock ankle, laces, follow through, foot swings towards net)
- communication ( demand for ball, "man on" at C)

SSG
2 small fields playing 3 v 3
Quick combinations, 1-2 touches only.
Restrictions:each team will have min. 1 player in own half at every time ( support, keep posession), but cannot have more than 2 players in own half when defending ( have 1 target in oponent half).
No set positions though, game is changing fast, players should react to the game ( movement, rotations, cover teamate attacking etc)
Warm up - passing combination (20 mins)
Organization:
- quarter field, set up 2 stations as per diagram above
- 10-12 players, ball, cones
Passsing drill warm up.
Players starts from 2 oposite lanes, combining 2 at a time, around a diamond ( 10 x 10 ), as per arrows in above diagram.
Start with 2 touches and if succesfull go to 1 touch .
Work on right foot ( as diagram), then switch for left foot ( going clockwise)
Coaching points:
- good first touch, create angles, no square passes
- acuracy, timing and pace of the pass
- movement of the ball
- communication, message in the pass
