Initial Game

7v7 + 4 neutrals

-players combine in an effort to play ball to opposite GK (neutral) who can use hands or feet.

-Gk then plays ball back out to same team who tries to score on either of the side nets

-if defending teams regains possession, they can also use GK to help maintain posession

-sideline bumper players also act as neutrals and play for whichever team has the ball (2 touch max)

- when ball is in offensive half, must get entire team over halfway line to help with the attack (leaves space for big ball to opposite GK which we should be encouraging)

-frequent stoppages for defending and attacking set pieces

-focus on GK set up when defending free kicks; can we try to get organized at game speed

-can also focus on how we quickly counter attack after our GK saves a corner/freekick, or the defenders clear it (striker gives high option, play their feet and build suport unless ball over the top is clearly best option)
