Set Up
Mannequin in the middle of grid with 2 mini goals either end
Player will start touching the mannequin and proceed to check off to recieve the pass
Player will take touch wide of defender to play a pass (shot) through the created space and into the goal
Player will the move to the other side of the mannequin and repeat task
Coaching Points
- Talking to recieve pass
- Head checks
- First touch (can first touch be good enough that second touch is the pass?)
- Second touch big enough to have a good attempt at pass
- Technique of pass
- High intensity

Set Up
2 poles 2-3m apart
Player will run from left to right to recieve and play a 1 touch pass
Pass to be played with right foot when running to the right and left foot whem running to the left

- High intensity
- Good firm pass
- Good body positionng

Set Up
2 mannequins on half way at edge of the D
Player "hides" behind mannequin and "fakes" left and recieves a one two pass to the right
Player moves to the left to recieve one two pass
Player peel around to the out side to recieve ball wider
Player takes one touch and shoots
Player repeats 3 times on first mannequin then moves to the opposite side
Coaching Points
- Movement (darting to lose defender and receive in space)
- Good firm passes
- Good first touch to set up shot
- Can we score in the corners of the goal across the keeper
- High Intensity

Set Up
Coach throws a ball to the player for a cushioned header back to coach
Player then run deep to receive a looping ball for a header back to coach
Player then runs forward to push off defender and drop for another looping header
Repeat 3-5 times
Variation
First cushioned header can be a chest volley or volley back to coach
Coaching Points
Use Forehead ALWAYS
Can we jump high to meet the ball at the highest point?
Can we direct the header?
Can we get power behind the header?

Set Up
4 hurdles set up as a square on edge of the D
8 balls lined up along the side edge of the 18 yard box
2 cones at ends of the D
1 Mannequin as Goalkeeper
2 poles in goal to create scoring zones
Player is to jump in and out of the hurdles both feet and one foot (alternating between shots)
after that they are to sprint arounf the cone and time their run to striker the ball first time into he scoring zone
Repeat 4 times then swap sides
Variations
Player can recieve any type of pass (header, volley, ground shot)
Coaching Points
- Balance in and out of the hurdles
- Timing of run when going to strike the ball
- Good power behind strike
- Can we hit the ball back across goal into scoring zone
- Can we hit the corners

At each side coasch will throw a ball for a volley back
Each rotation through coahc will change to a header/half volley/pass and change the way the player moves through the ladder
At the end of the ladder player will beat mannequin on the side specified by coach and score into mini goal
