The objective of the session is to place players into situations so that they can practice various attacking options and gain confidence in using them during a game.

Organization:
- 20x10 grid
- Objective of drill is to go directly at the defender and take him on.
- Player A starts off the drill by passing the ball to player B. Player must go at the defender and then look to go around him to score on the empty goal. No GK required.
- Player A and B will change sides so that they each take a turn at being attacker & defender.

- Take defender head on
- Creativity
- Speed of Play = fast

Organization:
- 12x12 grid with inside square only 3-4 yds apart
- Objective is for each player to practice their touches on the ball using all parts of the foot.
- Players will rotate after each turn working different moves such as: CRUYFF, FAKE and TAKE, STOP and GO, STEP OVER, SCISSORS, PULL BACK (V Cut), INSIDE / OUTSIDE, ROLLOVER
Progression:
- Use only left foot
- Free style (let them do their own moves for a few mins)
Coaching Points:
- Head up
- Quick change of direction
- Change of pace after change of direction - GAME PACE
- Be creative

Organization:
- 20x10 circle (can make it smaller if needed)
- Objective of drill is to try to get as many balls over your line than the other team.
- On the coaches command one player from each team will enter the circle and collect a ball at centre.
- That player will then go around their home cone and proceed to dribble quickly around the entire circle.
- Once ball is placed at their home base (behind the line of cones) then the next player in line can proceed to collect the ball and go around the world.
- Team with most balls wins.
Progression:
- Have the kids lay down on stomach or back to start
Coaching Points:
- Keep the ball close
- Use different parts of the foot to maintain control
- Keep your head up - players will crisscross each other
- Speed of Play = fast
- Have lots of fun with the game.

Organization:
- Make a 30 x 25 yard grid, smaller if less players
- divide the group into 2 equal teams of 5 + GK required
- make the teams rotate GKs every 4 mins.
Progressions:
- One touch finish are worth 2 goals
- finishing with non-dominant foot worth 2 goals
Coaching Points:
- speed of play = fast (where possible)
- decision making
- attacking mentality
- team defending (everyone is behind the ball when it's lost)
- game management when in possession (don't simply kick it away)
- urgency to score when behind
