Screen 1

Split players into their age groups, then split groups into teams of 3 or 4 players. Two teams compete against eachother. Setup a square 8x8 yards. One team starts inside the square as the “dodgers” and one team starts in a line outside the square as the “taggers”. Teams play 45 second rounds and then switch roles. One player from the tagging team goes into the grid to tag a player from the other team and then has to run back outside and tag their teammate to then go in and tag a player. The tagging team keeps track of their points(“tags”). The “dodging" players cannot run outside the grid or that is a point for the other team.

Variations:

(1)   Noballs – Regular tag

(2)   *NewVariation: the attacking players have a ball in their hands and the person withthe ball cannot be tagged so they are trying to throw/pass the ball to theplayer getting tagged so they cannot get “tagged”.

(3)   Theattacking players must dribble a ball each, but the tagging players have tocarry a ball in their hands and tag the dribblers with the ball. If the ballfalls out of their hands, then the tag does not count.

(4)   Theattacking players are dribbling a ball each and the tagging players have noball at all, but now must touch an attacking players ball with their foot tocount as the tag.

(5)   Possession/Knockout – The attacking players aredribbling a ball each and the tagging players have no ball at all, but aretrying to knock a ball out of the grid. The defending team wins win all theballs are knocked out of the grid, but the attacking players can now pass theball to eachother to keep possession.
