Opposition playing with back 3 or CM dropping to create 3 at back with high FB's
WF's
- Play half and half. Be ready to pressure nearest CB
- Pressure back passes to the GK if closest
- Recover if ball played over you to FB
- Opposite side WF narrow off if CM has gone out to pressure
ST
- Responsible for deep CM
- Narrow off if ball with wide CB's to prevent balls through the middle
- Recover centrally if CM has gone to pressure FB
CM
- Pressure FB if he receives beyond winger & force outside
FB
- Pressure high FB if no danger in behind
- Don't go if there is danger
If press is beaten, WF's and ST to quickly recover

- Immediate pressure on CB forcing inside
- Continue pressing back pass to GK
- Hard recover if ball played into FB
WF (non-ball side)
- Move towards far CB to threaten switch
- Pressure back pass to GK if closest (make them go back where they came from)
- Move central if CM has gone out to pressure FB
ST
- Look for opportunity to press if CB comes inside
- Narrow off if WF pressing to prevent balls through the middle
- Press GK on back passes if you're closest
CM
- Nearest CM go out to pressure FB receives beyond WF if he can't recover (keep them going outside)
