4 Zone Game - Defensive focus game
Progression:
1) Red team scores 1 point on big goal and/or playing into second line of red.
# team cannot go into lower and third zone. 1 Red player can drop into second zone to help build out. Once ball gets played into third zone = 1 pt. If #'d wins it they can go to big goal for 1 pt.
2) 1 #'d player can go into red zone. Two red players can drop to help build out now. Red team play aerial ball to 3rd zone.

1v1 Defend to Goal
-First defender starts at the top corner of 6 yard box and drive ball into attacker on the corner of 18 yard box. 1v1 to goal. If defender wins it they go to counter goal.
- Play 2-3 minutes and switch roles & switch sides.
Coaching Points:
Defenders:
Where should defender's be forcing? Defenders should work on curving their runs and forcing them wide. When they are outnumbered, they need to delay the play and wait for cover. Communciation & Defensive shape.
Attackers:
need to drive at front foot when going 1v1. When a man up, need to go quickly, make runs and find space.

2v2 + 3v2 To Big Goals
2v2 To Big Goal Progress to 3rd attacker coming. Have attackers back up and start deeper. Have second defender start diagonally opposite to come and defend. What should they do? Cover. What should the first defender do? (Press or delay).
