Set up
- 2 lines
- 1 ball per group
Instructions:
- Solid pass, receive with sole and follow your pass
Progression :
- Sole pass , meet in the middle and sole pass backwards into path of teammate so they can pass to the next player
- Combination play, wall pass (Solid pass , open up at an angle for the wall pass)

10min
Set up
- 4 Lines
- One cone in front of each line creating a diamond shape about 8-10 yards distance.
Instructions
- Skills - L turn, sole roll, single scissors, double scissors, step over, step over & scissors combo, in & out touch
- Each player will dribble the ball and complete skill move at the red cone and dribble to the next line
Coaching Points
- Small and quick touches
- Keep the ball close when completing the skill move
- Give yourself time and space to complete the skill before reaching the cone
- Head up as you dribble
- Quick change of pace and direction with each skill

15-20 min
Set up
- Players are set at each dot or cone which represents a position (Fixo, Right Ala, Left Ala, Pivot)
- Keepers are set on the opposite goal for shots.
Instructions
- Ball starts with the Fixo.
- Fixo plays the ball to the right ala and checks away in the opposite direction to create a passing angle.
- Right ala checks out and checks back in to receive the ball with the sole.
- Left ala comes across the court for a pass. Once the Left ala receives the pass, that player steps on the ball and switches directions for a diagonal pass to the fixo.
- Pivot makes a diagnoal run down the court for the diagonal pass.
- Pivot receives the ball and plays it back to the left ala who is making a run to finish.
- Players rotate to their right after each set.
- After a few repetitions, change and go the opposite direction. (rotate to the left)
Coaching Points
- Quick sharp movements.
- Solid pass to feet and receive with sole.
- Fixo checks away from the ball once the pass is made.
- Ala checks out and back in to create space to receive the pass from the fixo.
- Opposite ala comes in to receive pass from right ala.
- Pivot makes a diagonal run down the court to receive the pass and lay off for on coming ala to finish.
- Ala must disguise the run.
Progression
- Add one or two defenders in the opposing teams defensive half.
- Players must wait for the diagonal pass before it goes live.

15-20 min
