Drill 1 – Run, Dribble, Pass, Shoot & finish.
Set Up: Spot, 3 x hurdles, 4 x hoop & target goals. Players in small teams, balls in the middle of field.
Players(1) run over hurdles, both feet in hurdle, in and out the cones, runs through an assigned gate, turns and get ball, and passes to assigned players (2). Player 2 receives and dribbles ball to assigned area ( made with rings or any equipment you can make as a pit stop to leave balls.
Player 1 after passing ball will now become player 2, and Player 2 after placing ball in assign are, will run to opposite side and become player 2.
NOTE: for beginner, or very young player, you can modify, and don't have them pass ball yet, but dribble to player 2, and stop ball at least 1 yard from player, so that player 2 can now dribble to assigned ball placement area. Also to assist with players knowing who's turn it is, you can give teams an object to hold in their hand as a baton to hand off to next player.
After all balls are in assigned area, players will now work to repeat drill, but now players will do as a game.
and you can add more balls.
Progressions: Races 1st to place ball in assign grid wins. each ball score = 1 PT for team. Play to last ball, and explain that last ball is the golden ball (2-3points), and challenge time. Players doing obstacle must battle to get ball and do task assigned correctly for point the point to count

directional to a goalTeams in 2 different colors
3 - touch limit unless player dispossesses the player with the ball and can go to goal
Players look to move the ball going forward and playing backwards as little as possible while trying to avoid getting caught is tight spaces
Players on the ball look to play into the winger to avoid getting "trapped". Winger player can dribble up the line but must look to cross back to team with possession.
Team (player) with ball possession can use either neutral winger as a wall pass, or open player, however with the objective to make a attacking run, and number advantage when attaching, as well as returning to make defensive contributions.
Coaching Points:
Weight of passes
Recognizing space
Movement of ball (tempo)
Are our players with possession "ahead" in their thinking to advance the ball in attack
Are we creating opportunities to help the player with the ball when we are off the ball
