-To begin, only the floaters are allowed to speak.
--Make 3 passes for a point, or the other team plays the ball out of bounds.
---The floaters are roatated every so often (2 mins).
Look at the importance of the detail in instuctions. Progress to delagting a team "speaker" who then begins to give instructions. After, look to alternate the players who are able to communicate.
*Observe the difference in play style accoridingly.
*Be sure to scrutinize the level of detail/type of instructions being given.
*In the meantime, look at how else players can communicate and look for ideas. Highlight players who use body gestures as examples.
Teams can also come up with their own "language", i.e code words for jargon such as "1 2", or "overlap".

Functunal
-Half field
The ball starts with the #6 each time when the red team is set - the blue must break down a balanced defence.
Blue play to the main goal and have free movement around the field.
Blue: # 9 cannot go past red cones (middle third), # 6 cannot go past red cones (finishing/creative third).
Red: Only one of the two red players that is starting on the red cones can go back into their defending third, the other red player roves in the (middle/ conncet third). This roving player must recieve a controlled pass to be counted as a scored point.
2 White players are locked into the middle third and the back 4 are locked into the final third. White team play to the wide goals when the win possession - they must score within 5 seconds of winning the ball.

7 vs 6+GK on half a field
Instructions:
Half field, 7 vs 7 game. 1 team goes to goal, the other towards 2 counter goals. Use less players where needed.
Coaching Points:
- Play as a unit/team

Teams can try to score in either goal.
To win the game, all outfield players must score a goal. Once a player has scored, they cannot score again.
Half field dimensions
-5 minutes or until the first goal scored
-After a team has won, they play the game again, this time Silently - No Talking Allowed. This will help them understand how important communication is, and without communication they need to work as a team even more to try to achieve their objective.
-After they have played Silently, play again this time allowed to communicate. The Coach should notice that teamwork and communication have both increased as a result.
