2 groups of players on 2 cones 15 yards apart

Instructions:

Dynamic Movements across from cone to cone

Introduce a ball play 2 touch and follow.

2 touch and follow to back of opposite line with a burst of spped

1 touch and follow

Technical/Tactical:

first touch/weight of pass

mental focus

flexability and movement patterns related to soccer

Combination Play (25 mins)

Organization:

2 sepearte drills so all players are active

Set up two 20 by 30 rectangles

3 teams of 2 players with 1 neutral. Can be 3vs3 depending on age and ability

Instructions:

Team in possession is trying to combine to get the ball from one target to the other to score. Can they find the extra player to pass the ball with ease.

You can limit touches to encourage speed of play, combinations and movement off the ball

You can make a minimum or maximum amount of passes before playing to target

Player awareness on the ball

Move the ball quickly, looking for the spare player

Creat overloads with mobility

Movement after playing

Fulham Passing & Receiving Combination Play (20 mins)

Organization:

Grid is 10 yards wide by 20 yards long

Players dispersed equally between 4 outside cones with 1 in the middle

Set up two grids for more play on ball

Instructions:

Player A plays across to Player B's back foot and follows pass to overlap Player B. B receives and plays to Player C and continues run to create space for the overlapping A. Player C sets a pass to Player A, who then switches the ball to either Player D or E and the drill begins again from the other side.

Add other combinations by playing middle directly etc...
