Warm Up (15 mins)

Setup 4 cones in a square, players pass the ball in a figure of 8 pattern and follow their pass.

Weight of pass, first touch all important to follow through into the next phase of the session.

Shooting Technique (15 mins)

Players pass diagonally across the goal to the player inbetween the gate, he takes a touch and then shoots before reaching the the yellow discs.

Passing player follows his pass across the goal to become a shooter, shooting player move to the passers opposite him and becomes a passer. Repeat.

Coaching Points:

- Look at shooting players first touch, does it set them up well enough.

- Which part of the foot does the player shoot with for best results? Can they use both feet?

Shooting Technique 2 (10 mins)

Same as before, but instead of starting from a static position, the players make a move across the box, to receive on the move. The player receiving the ball asks for it as he's moving.

Shooting Opposed (20 mins)

Shooting player starts with the ball, passes in to defender who then passes it back to him as he makes his run through the gate. Once the defender sends the ball, he enters the area to create a 1v1 infront of goal.

- Add in a time limit to put further pressure on the attacker.
