1v1s: split the field in 2,3,4 lanes, depending on your numbers, for a 1v1.
Striker goes up dribbling the ball. Defender will approach and try to steal it/avoid the goal. If they do steal the ball, they dribble the ball towards one of the two side gates to score a point(can be a pass as well, depends on the coach).
- To approach the striker, defender can use 4 basic words: FAST (sprint to get closer), SLOW (slow down as you get closer to the striker), SIDE (dont keep both feet on the same line, keep them diagonally to each other), LOW (get closer to the ground to be able to move faster).
- In this game, player without the ball must try to steal the ball but also avoid any kind of pass (shooting) towards the goal (closing passing lines).

1v1+2: players need to take the ball from one outside player to the opposite one to get +1 point.
All feedback in this game will go towards the defender.
Defender must have a good body position to stop a 1v1 challenge, but also, will have to be aware and ready to close any passing line (Individual defending it's not just being successful in a 1v1 situation, sometimes, it's all about denying a passing line, and forcing the opposition to make a mistake or pass the ball back and not progress on the field).
After time, switch roles.(outside players go in)
* Coach, if you have a lot of kids do 3,4 fields for this game. As we don't need goals or anything like that, with only 4 cones you can do the box they will use.

Regular game with regular rules. Feedback again go towards the defenders: how they will approach a player with the ball, if they should go and try to steal, or if they should deny the space and block any passing lines. It all depends on the field location, and the coach's game model/strategy (example: if you want to play with a high pressure line, maybe it's the best scenario to go up and try to steal as fast as possible; now, if you work more about protecting the space as an unit with the lines a little lower, would be more intelligent to deny the progression and force a mistake/or a pass back).

Warm-up: split your group in pair, each pair with a ball. Split a big box in 4 smaller boxes. Max 2 pairs per square.
Players start playing and will try to steal the ball from their "team mate". After 1 min/1:30 min, player without a ball lose and do an "extra work" (Jumping jacks, toe taps, etc). Switch partners after.
- After couple rounds, bring kids closer and talk how they should approach the opponent that has the ball (sideways, closer to the ground, on their toes).
- What if the player is shielding the ball? What do we do? (use your body to pressure and block any space/chance for turns).
After the talk, send them back on the field to play.
