Warm Up (15 mins)

Description :

> 30x30 area.

> 1 ball per player.

> Scissors - players must look to dribble with the ball close to them, looking for them to bring their foot (outside of ankle) around the ball, while dropping the same shoulder as the foot you use, look to use the outside of the opposite foot to take the ball into the space.

> L Turn - ball starts infront of the player, using the bottom of their foot they must roll the ball backwards & behind the standing foot, using the inside of the moving foot to knock the ball to the side.

> Ronaldo Chop - ball starts infront of the player, using the inside of their foot they must look to almost slap the ball with their foot & take it to the side of their body making sure it goes behind their standing foot. The next stage will be looking for the players to add in the jump, when on their way back down can they slap/chop the ball to the side when landing on the ground.

Coaching Points :

> close control.

> head up & down when dribbling.

> small touches when dribbling.
