Gaining Control
Success Criteria -
players will show individual defending with correct body shape
units will idenitfy how to keep the opposition in front and force to wide areas

Ball starts with 2 attacking players who pass the ball unopposed and must pass the ball into the field past the end zone. After 3 passes if they haven't passed forward they can dribble. attacking team score on the put goals, defending team win possession and score by playing into the end zone.
Change starting points of defender. Defenders have to be on one side of the field.

Set up as shown, ball starts with the goalkeeper who plays to CB, on the pass the 9 can press. Blue team aim to play into the central zone and score by dribbling through the gate for 1 point. 3 points for scoring in the central goal. Defending team win possession and score on the goal.
Work both sides, change the point system for the goals.

Execution Warm Up: (15 mins)
10 x 20 area, with a gate on the left side and goal on the opposite.
A passes to B, B must take one touch then try to score in the goal. Defender pressures the ball and denys the goalscoring pass. If B cannot score, they pass back to A, who plays 1v1 with the D and dribbles through the gate.
Progress - can play 2v1, or A gets bonus point for dribbling over the line to opposite side with the goal.
