Organization:
10x20 grid
6x small cones per grid diagram eg (1 grid)
2x tall cones
groups of 4-6 depending on age eg 8-9 years = 4players per group
1ball per group but have spares at the side
Instructions:
1. the players must now dribvle to the tall cone take a touch out of there feet, then strike the ball to the oposite line still following up with a run as shown.
Coaching Points:
o messi dribble to tall cone
otake a touch past the cone into the space and out of your feet
o Angle of approach – off center
oHead up to observe the target
oHead down at the point of contact
oNon-kicking foot placed to side, slightly behind the ball
oAnkle locked, toe down
oContact ball – will vary depending on target area
oContact foot – laces (instep)
oBody weight forward, chest and knee over the ball at contact
oFollow through landing on striking foot
orepeat with both feet
Progressions:
PG.now take out the tall cones and apply semi pressure (defenders dont takle) ,as the player strikes the ball he now will follow up with a run as before but towards the new striking player allowing them to take a touch out of there feet and be more game realistic with the setting to strike movements

Instructions:
1.take the tall cones and set up a goal on line B
2.the players will now set up with 1 player in the goal on line B GK, 2 players on line A, and 1 player on line c.
3.The ball starts on line A,the player must strike the ball and score past the GK (line B) ,player from line A will then become the GK and face the player on line C line B player now moves to line A.
4.line C player takes a shot and repeats the same process following up and becoming the GK on line B facing Line A, then line b player will move to line C.
Coaching Points:
1. Head up on approach to observe goal
2. Placement of non-kicking foot
3. Hitting ball slightly off center – opposite to kicking foot
4. Body weight over ball (this is effected by placement of non-kicking foot)
6. Follow through
7. Land on striking foot
Progressions:
1. Allow the GK to come and pressure the striking player.
2. The striking player can follow up and rebound to finish
3. Make it an indervidual point scoring game 2 points for a strait goal,1 point for a rebound and 1 point for a save.

-Same teams
-All the balls start on the right side of the attaking teams field (starting point of balls switch sides halfway through)
Instructions:
• First player in line starts the game, by dribbling into the area, as soon as the red team players (A and B) enter the field, the white team players (C and D) can step out and defend
Coaching Points:
1) Positive touch out of feet
2) Approach ball at an angle
3) Decision on when to shoot, and Why?
3) Head up, observe target
4) Pick spot then eyes return to the ball
5) Contact center of ball

Instructions:
1. The players must make 2 lines spliting the group in half with one group at line A, and the other in the middle at line B to create a small and controled distance as shown for execution of technique
2. the players must rotate by striking the ball using there laces (25% power )to the player in the oposit line, the player must then follow up and run to the oposite line.
3.change between feet make sure players get reps on both

Coaching Points:
1. Head up on approach to observe goal

Progressions:
1.now bring the group in the middle at line B to line C for further distance and an increase in power (50-75%) still using the technique and following the run to the oposite line .PG as shown on the diagram
