A. Fast- touch around and go.
B. Slow- keep touches close, and read body shape to judge direction of move.
2. Observation of space.
3. End product.
4. Mentality to attack.
5. Get ball across field in fewest number of touches possible.
6. Location of defender. Recovering? Attack space with speed. Pressuring? Decision based on defender's body shape and distance.
7. Protecting the ball- small touches close to defender.

Organization: Fast paced 1v1 into 2v1, into 3v2
Blue attacks yellow at speed. Play is 1 v. 1. Player who shoots becomes defender. Example: Blue shoots and next yellow attacks at speed. Goalkeeper replaced by player who didn't shoot.
Coaching points:
(1). Speed of play.
(2). Mental awareness, moment of loss of possession.
(3). Location of defender. Recovering? Attack space with speed. Pressuring? Decision based on defender's body shape and distance.
(4). Protecting the ball- small touches close to defender.
Progressions:
Progression 1- 1 v. 1. Shooting player becomes defender.
Progression 2- 1 v. 1 Both players off. Player receiving attacks.

Organization: 4 v. 4 + 1 in a 40x30 yd area. 5 yard endzone on both ends.
Instructions: Attacking team dribbles into endzone. Once successful in dribbling into endzone, keep the ball and look to transition and attack the other way.
Coaching Points:
1). Speed of play.
(2). Mental awareness. Position and shape of defenders.
(3). Emphasis on quick decision by 1st attacker to find teammates in advance of the ball or drive at the defense on the dribble.
(4). Get across field in fewest number of touches possible.
Progressions:
(1). Dribble into endzone to score.
(2). Pass into endzone to score.

Organization: 4v4 (30 x 40 yd area) No goalkeepers. Play for 10 minutes, then water-break.

The King's Court (15 mins)
Organization: as many areas as needed. 10 yards wide x 20 long. 2 players per area.
Instructions: play 1 v. 1 in each channel. Player with ball passes across. Receive and try to beat player 1 v. 1 across end line. 3 minute rounds. Ball out of channel or restart. Other player passes and other player receives. Player with higher score advances to the kings court.
