Football/Soccer Session (Beginner): BALL MASTERY COLOURS

BALL MASTERY ( BALL MASTERY, RUNNING WITH THE BALL & CONCENTRATION GAME)

RULES:

- Each player starts with the ball and run inside the area 

- Put 3 different colours cones around 

- On coach signal players have to run to designed colour and perform skill move 

For example :

RED - Run outside the square and do keep puppies

BLUE - stop next to blue and do some toe taps 

YELLOW - stop next to the yellow and do pull-push move (pull sole of the foot /push laces)

- Encourage players to be alert, do as many reps as possible and keep head up

PROGRESSIONS & VARIATIONS :

- Be creative and find more skill moves, ask players what moves they want to practice

- Use Role Models for example Ronaldo chop move etc. 

- Change colours fast to test players awereness
