Method: Dribbling At Speed

  • The blue player will have a football
  • The red player has no football
  • The blue player must dribbling from mannequin to mannequin in their group 
  • The red player is sprinting trying to catch the blue player

Coaching Points:

  • Head up when dribbling
  • Keep the ball close to the body

Method: Dribbling With A Pass

  • The player with the ball will dribble through the cones
  • Then they will play a one-two around the mannequin with their teammate 
  • Then they will pass the ball into the mini goal

Coaching Points:

  • Head up when dribbling

  • If the defending team wins the ball they then transition to attack and attempt to score

  • 5 VS 5 plus 1 in the box
  • Each team must complete 7 passes before they can score
  • Once they have their target passes then must then attempt to dribble into any one of the 4 zones
  • If the defending team wins the ball they then try get their 7 passes and score

  • On the toes ready for the ball
  • Quality in the passes
