Mini game : 1v1 from the goal line (25mins)

Set up:

  • 10x20 small sided field. Split in to halves.
  • 1 goal
  • coach/GK

Organization:

Coach or GK passes the ball out for players to challenge 1v1. Players have no pass so must rely on dribbling to get passed DF player and score. If AT loses the ball, they become the DF. AT can only score from finishing zone(same half as the goal.

Coaching points:

  • looking up when dribbling
  • keeping the ball close
  • timing when to finish
