Time: 30 Minutes
Organisation:
-Set up a grid with 3 zones.
-Zone 1 and 3 with 15x15 and zone 2 15x5.
-Split players into 2 teams of 4 in each zone.
Exercise:
-Designate red team as defenders and start in zone 2.
-Blue team in zone 1 start with the ball and 2 players from zone 2 move into zone 1 to press the blue players.
-Blue team aim to get ball to blue players in zone 3 and keep going.
-If ball gets into zone 3 the remaining pair in zone 2 move into zone 3 and the reds in zone 1 move back to 2.
-This continues until red win the ball.
-If red win the ball then the roles change and blue players must operate from zone 2.
-The zone where the ball is lost those players who lost the ball do not need to retreat to zone 2 they can press straight away but the other players in the other zone must.
-Play this for 5 minute periods and swap with players in other grids.
Key Points:
-Operating as a pair.
-How quickly can win the ball back if turnover of possession.

Organisation:
-Set up a pitch as big as possible and into 3 zones.
-Split players into 3 even teams and into pairs into each zone.
-Spare team common on outside
Exercise:
-Teams play by passing the ball from zone to zone.
-Team in possession can use the players on the outside as common players.
-Players initially start as 2v2 in each grid.
-Play 5 minute periods and switch teams.
-Once all played once if time permits play 5 minute periods again but this time team in possessions can move into next grid to create an extra player.
-Defensive 2 then need to work together v extra player.
Key Points:
-Work as a group of 6 despite being placed into spereate zones.

Exercise:
-A yellow player serves ball into the grid.
-Team in possession aims to keep the ball and get the ball continuosly from 1 yellow player to the other.
-The other pair aim to win the ball and perform the same role.
-Play 3 minute spells then change the outside players.
Key Points:
-As a defensive pair where to best position themselves to stop the pass to the outside player.
-Recognise the opportunity to win the ball.
