Organization:
3 players in a row with the player on the middle going
Instructions:
"A" serves to "B". "B" pushes the ball with the finger tips to "C". "C" then serves to "B" and "B" pushes it to "A"
Coaching Points:
send it the way its already going (just give it a little bump with your fingers)
use the hand closest to the ball
Bend at the obliques
timing to bump the ball when its above your head
Progressions:
Player "B" starts on knees
Then move to hands

Organization:
3 Players in the goal area
Instructions:
"B" jogs to A, touches the ball then negative back steps and crosses over to get back to the bar
"A" lobs the ball over "B" wjho has to make the save
"C" can follow up for a Rebound
if "B" somehow catches the ball, he can go to either pug goal (C can defend, has three touches to score upon interception)
Coaching Points:
negative drop step - drop with the foot closest to the penalty spot (open your body to the goal area)
corss feet over to recover rapidly
Decision to Jump or dive back to the bar
if parrying, use the hand closest to the ball (you can see it, and its easier)
Just send the ball the way its already going (bump it)

Don't be afraid to set up an additional field/channel if numbers require for MAX REPS
Instructions:
Player starts out on the ground as if just made a save to the far post
Gets up deals with S1
Immediately Tracks S2 and tries to get back to the bar
Coaching Points:
Explosive ness getting up
Urgent footwork
decision to jump or dive
use front hand to parry the ball over the bar (send it the way its already going)
Progressions:
Upon a clean save from any server, GK can roll or throw the ball into the pug,
Keep track of goals, Scoring on a pug can erase a goal from your total score

Instructions:
Players go throw a progression of GK Ball mastery techniques:
skip/bounce
Tomohawk Chop/contour save
finger tip juggling
finger tip short, short, long juggling
Boxing juggling
Boxing Short, short, long juggling
seated bounces with catch
seated bounces with jumping catch
Coaching Points:
Allow for individual coaching and monitor the group and scan for common mistakes.
Contour save -
thumbs behind the ball, but not touching in a general "W" shape
mold hands around the ball
bent elbows, absorb the ball (don't squeeze)
eyes on ball appreciate the catch
get the ball of your body
Finger tip juggles:
flexible but strong fingertips (dexterity). Control the ball
elbows in
head and chin raised
footwork (shuffle, back pedal, sprint)
Boxing juggles
Elbow in
Make a fist with flat knuckles
