Screen 2 Conditioned game 25 min including coaching points (25 mins)

20 min Conditioned game with 2 goals in the middle one outside player on each side where the team can score team must play at least one pass of the outside man before the team can score encouraging the players to go from defence to attack being mobile making the runs to get into the attacking goal area to get onto the ball start off with a one touch finish then gradually all in

Coaching points let the game flow first few mins

change the outside players every few mins

intervene when players are being lazy and not keeping up with the play not going from defence to attack then show the runs to go forward and support creating space or in a area to receive the bounce pass from the outside man for the one touch finish let the players know this conditioned game doesn't work without mobility then when they do it well intervene and let them no where it went well.  and remembering the 3 B's

recreate and move the ball

9 v 9 game 20 mins  3 - 4 - 1 formation

looking at Mobility in attack

are players supporting the play creating space once their team gets into the opposite half

do the players use the full pitch when attacking creating more passing lanes and areas for attacking players to run into when the striker receives the ball with back to goal do we have the players moving to receive the pass wide or in the centre to go forward. do the players scan/have correct body shape to be positive when they receive the ball

possible interventions - lack of players supporting the play when moving into attacking areas wingers not making runs forward finding space to help create penetrating passes or pull players away for players to run into

let the game flow first few minutes see what areas can be improved stop recreate move the ball and finish on a positive

personal performance

stepped in a extra time to really drive in how important it is to be mobile in attack and the third time ask the players to the who what why do we do these things and see how they reply and show me they no the topic and corrected it themselves when asked what should they have done then has more success will do similar session again in 2 weeks to see does it stick
