Instructions:

  • Blue team attacks on the direction of big goal trying to score.
  • The red team defends and if recovers the ball it can score in mini-goals
  • If the ball goes out of bounce blue team restart from the back
  • Teams play 1-2-1

Coaching Points/Questions:

  • How can we find or create openings to play forward and score? - Drag opponents out of positions and play quickly
  • How can we force the opponent to make errors? - Create 2v1s & 1v1s and pass or dribble forward.
  • Why is switching the ball an effective way to create chances on goal? We have more space on the other side

  • If the ball goes out of bounce we start from goal and defending team has to go behind halfway line
  • Goals inside the area are worth 5 points, goals outside are worth 1
