Set Up:
2 Gates top and bottom of the area
2 cones off set on the sides
1 ball
Activity:
Player dribbles around cones using inside of the foot as much as possible alternating feet in the pattern illustrated keeping it as close as possible
Coaching Points:
Weight of touch and concentrating on getting the technique correct to then increase speed

Set Up
Each player with a ball
A number of gates 1 or 2 less that the number of players
Activity
Players dribble through gates looking to attack space and get to open space and then find the next gate from that open space
Coaching Points
Touching ball with any part of the foot with either foot
Keeping Head up so not to bump into any other player and find a gate to dribble through

Screen 1 (20 mins)
1) La Croqueta – Pull ball across body from one legto another then pull back and repeat other way
2) Sole Roll – Pull ball back across body with thesole of the boot and then push forward on the other side
3) Outside Foot Push – Pull ball back with the soleof the foot then push ball with the outside of the boot and forward on theother side
4) V-Cuts – From the right pull with the left on adiagonal and push on the opposite side in a “V” with the left foot and repeatwith the right
5) Triangles – Start in front of the left pullingthe ball back on a diagonal towards the back of the cone with left foot, thenpush ball forward on an equal diagonal on the other side that then pull across andrepeat with the other foot
6) Alternate “V” Cut – Pull back in a single motionfrom left to right behind the cone pushing up with the right foot
7) V Cut – Alternate V Cut – Always pull back withthe foot you start with then push to the opposite side, then pull back with thesame foot and push to the opposite foot
8) Square – Pull the ball around the cone in a yardby yard then alternate and go the other way
9) L Drag – Square – Pull ball back and push ball behindthe opposite leg after steps forward (Cruyff)
10) Laces Push – Pull ball back with one foot andpush with laces forward to opposite side of cone
After each player has worked on each activity over a 7 minuteperiod, players with then dribble with in cones in the area working on the ballmastery activities on the coach’s call.
