Time 10-15 min Two triangles - 7 x 7, 20 Meters apart

Progression

- drive the ball low to each other - receive the ball - move to the left/right and drive the ball back

- receive the ball - with 1/2 touches move to the left/right

- chip the ball

Coaching points

- receive the ball center of the body

- Know where you want to push the ball before you receive it

- communicate - be a voice target

Time: 15-20 min Outer grid 20 x 20 Inner grid 5 x 5

3 vs 1 with the object of complete a pass through the inner square area to score. 1 defender.

Progression:

- 3 --> 2 touch

- add another defender 3 vs 2

Coaching points:

- constant movement - with/without the ball

- look for passing lanes

- know where you want to go before you receive the ball

Penetrating pass - game

Organisation/ Rules: 6 v 6 in the middle zone of the pitch. After a team has made 2 passes they look to play a ball into the final thrid for an attacking player to get on to. The player has a maximum of 2 touches to score.

Progression: Same rules apply but this time 2 attackers and one defender make the final third but the attackers can only score with a 1 touch finish
