This is a One-hour game-basedsession plan. This session is designed to introduce the players back to soccer and provide an opportunity to introduce themselves to the Coaches and Teammates

Arrival Activity (5-10 Minutes)
Aminimum of 2 players is needed to get going. As players arrive, they put downtheir water bottle, coaches provide them a pinnie, and they start playing. Asother players arrive, increase the game to 2v2s, 3v3s. Overloads 3v2 are ok. Inthe beginning, place two nets down for the game field. As the players areplaying, walk around too completed the area set up with cones.

1 x25/35yrds field. Within this 2 x 20/25yrds fields going across the width.

Ice Breaker / Introduction Game (5 - 10 Minutes)
Rock, Paper, Scissors Relay Race
Players introduce themselves to their teammates. "Hello, my name is...."
Game on. The player who wins must run to the finish line, and the player who loses must run after the winner and tag them before the finishing line.
Play three rounds then swap partners.

Team Choice Tag (10 Minutes)
Start the session with a fun tag of their choice.
Freeze tag is an example: Assign one or two players as taggers or the coaches start as the taggers. If a player is tagged, they freeze with their legs apart. Non-tagged players can unfreeze a player by crawling through their legs. Or Turtle tag, start with one or two taggers, if tagged, most remain on their back curled up like a turtle. To be untagged, someone must roll you of your shell.
Taggers should only be it for a 1 minute, then change tagger.

Final Game ( 20 Minutes)
2 x Teams, 3v3/4v4/5v5 or adaptbased on numbers
Normal game, no coaching points orstoppages. If coaching is required limit information and allows for lots of ballrolling time
Individual / Team Point
Individual point for trying adribbling move. These are given out by the coaches
Team points for working together asa team are given out by the coaches
Add up the score at the end includinggoals scored

1 x 25/35yrds field. 2 x goal either end. Normal game setup (Adjust forfewer players)

Playersbecome more confident with trying a skill to beat a defender

The main field setup is a 25/35yrds field which will be used for the final game. Each other activity and game can be set up within this area with minimal cones required. When moving from one activity/game to the next, moving goals and some cones are required.
