T.T.P.: Pass or dribble forward when possible or hold the ball
Training Session: Type:Progressive
Training Day: Organizational
Session Length: 75 min
Physical Load: Medium
Cognitive Load: Medium
Current Behavior
What: Can not build up from the middle
Who: #6-8-8-9-7-11
Where: Middle 3rd
When: When our midfielders have the possession of the ball and looking to build up
Why: When our midfielders under the pressure, we are not playing simple, also not moving into the gaps to receive the ball
Desired Behavior
What: Creating triangles with pushing up the full backs and dropping #9.
Who: #6-8-10-9-7-11
Where: Middle 3rd to Attacking 3rd
When: When our #6 has the ball and looking for simple pass to the feet
Why: With #7/11 dropping gives the team to have 3vs2 in the middle and makes it easier to find the open player in the gap to play the ball to outside and advance to the attacking 3rd
Guided questions:
How can we find the space in the center of the field?
How can we attract the opponent to move up?
What happens when we make the opponent move up?
What can go wrong:
Non-focus team staying deep and playing low block
Non-focus team's one of the CBs #2/3 not pushing up to create overload in the midfield area
Focus #7/9/11 missing his cues/triggers to drop back to create numerical advantage
Focus #6-8-8 not supporting the attack
