Area: two 15 x 20 grids, offset (yellow cones shown), two centre flat markes (red cones shown)
Players: 6 -16 player, replicate to larger number (shown)
Explanation: Play starts with Player A making a forward movement with the ball, this triggers the two Player C's to move apart away from Player B (defender). Player B makes a decision who to defend Player A or mark one of the Player C's, this opens a passing lane for Player A to hit either the free Player C, if Player C can let the ball run across their body (i.e. no defender) they take a touch and pass onto Player D, if Player C is defended they play back to Player A who looks to then pass directly into Player D or uses the other Player C if dfender closing lane to Player D. By replicating grids with Player A at opposite ends play/ers can rotate runing both grids similtaneously. Once ball reaches Player D they pass onto position A. Player A moves to left Position C, left Player C shuffles to Position B, B to right C, right C to D, D to A.
Coaching Points: sharp movement by Players C off defender B, timing movement of Player A, first touch with back foot, opening stance to be able to receive and pass on and guard ball from defender, firm long passes, short pass timing/weight/accuracy.

Players: 6 - 9 players, (9 shown) two attackers in defensive (white) end zone, 2 v 3 in mid zone, 1 v 1 in attacking (blue) end zone.
Explanation: Play starts with pair in defensive end zone they keep possession passing to each other looking for an opportunity to pass into their mid zone support. Defenders in mid zone must move together across to cover player with the ball in the defensive zone, they can only jockey and are not allowed in the defensive zone. Ball can be bounced back and forth from defensive zone to mid zone looking for an opportunity to hit the attacker in the attacking zone and score in either of the two small goals, when ball is played to attacker in the attacking zone the two mid zone attackers and only one defender can enter the attacking zone to support the 1 v 1. if defenders win the ball they try to hit the small goal at the defensvie zone end as quickly as possible
Coaching Cues; movement to creating space/passing lanes; movement to support/tranistion in attack; knowing options before receiving the ball, first touch to create a passing opportunity; timing, weight and direction of passes; playing back to reset.
