Split the opponent (15 mins)

Organization:

1. Set up as shown (35x35)

2. 10-12 players.

Instructions:

1. 8v5 possession game.

2. Red team has 3 players in the middle channel. Playing 3v2 agaisnt black team.

3. Black team has 3v0 in outer end zones.

4. One player from red team can pressure the ball in outer channels.

5. One point for red team w inning possession. One point for outer zone players to find the pass (ground) to opposite side. 3 points for central player to turn and find opposite side.

Coaching Points:

1. Finding the w indow s betw een defenders.

2. Finding the pockets betw een the lines.

3. Body position (sidew ays on)

4. Checking over shoulder to recognize when to turn forw ard/w hen to play back or sideways.

5. Cushion on contact in direction next decision.
