Practice Organisation
Using cones, mark out a 20 x 20 playing field
Place four teams of 3 players next to each one of the small sided goals
Two coaches will serve balls into the playing area, have extra balls available
Sequence
Coach #1 serves the first ball into the playing area and two players come out to play 1v1 (red/yellow)
Coach #2 serves the second ball into the playing area for another goal scoring opportunity
Progression: play 2 vs 2, scoring on any of the four goals and always adding a second ball into play
Progression: play 1v1v1v1, World Cup format and keep individual scores & titles
Key Coaching Points
Players must get the ball under control quickly and move towards any open goal
Players are encouraged to use their turns or moves to evade defensive pressure
Players must accelerate quickly to goal and finish with a clean strike/pass to goal

Teams play 4 v 4
Sequence
Players score one point for each goal scored during the game
Variation: when the attacking team scores, they keep the ball and attack in the opposite direction
Key Coaching Points
Finishing with a clean strike on goal; instep pass or laces strike - compliment accuracy & technique
Encourage 1 vs 1 play, take on your opponent
