The pitch will be split vertically. Players must aim to beat the defender and dribble / pass their way into the next zone, where they will look to carry out a 2v1 with their teammates in the opposite box. After each attempt, players switch roles and the attack will start from the opposite side.
Challenges:
Can you beat the defender and score within 10 seconds?
How many different ways can you find to beat the first defender?
Coaching Points:
- Speed of play to advance into the next zone to create an overload and score.
- Skills and body feints beat the first defender.
- Decision making on the ball during overload: pass, dribble or shoot?
- Fast recovery run to get back into position during in > out transition

This will be the same but the teammates on the pitch next to them will combine to create a 2v2. The player who dribbles/passes the ball into the attacking half will be allowed to join in to create a 3v2.

Condition: Each time the defender in possession passes a ball in their half they must make a forward run, creating space at the back. An attacker must then drop in to cover the space left by their teammate. Like before, if a defender in possession plays a ball into the attacking half they can join the attack, creating a 3v2.
Coaching Points:
- Communication between teammates to organise rotational play.
- Timing and positioning of runs (both from defenders and attackers)

4v4 game with the inclusion of a 1v1 zone. If a show gets blocked by a defender, the attacker and the defender must enter the 1v1 zone and take part in a 1v1 Whilst the game still goes in. Whoever scores the 1v1 wins a point for themselves and their team.
Players can earn individual points by:
Scoring = 1 point (both in SSG and 1v1)Assist = 1 pointImpress the coach = 1 point (this may include good combination play, good attacking play etc.)

Warm up - Golden Balls (shooting race)
Organisation: players are put into 2 teams and are numbered 1-4.
Practice: When a coach calls out a number, the player from each group must run through their gate into the central ball and take a ball off the coloured cone associated with their team (i.e red team only takes a ball off red cone and blue team a blue cone).
Players must dribble through one of the courses shown in the picture and score a goal. They must then get the other ball and dribble through the other course.
The race will be for the golden ball in the middle. Whoever gets to the golden ball and scores the golden ball wins. Both players are allowed to take part in a 1v1 for the golden ball.
